This site is run and maintained by volunteers who support the RDA

Our Facilities

The group has an indoor arena with ramp and electric hoist, Gell Track surface and eight ponies/horses.
Riding classes Monday to Friday.
Facilities at the Border Group RDA:

Indoor School with full size arena and mounting ramp
Tackroom
Disabled toilets
Hoist
Stables
Fields

The images on the right show how we mount someone from a wheelchair using the electric hoist.. its very quick and easy.

Buster waits patiently for his rider and soon Shonagh is off.. riding round the school. This hoist is a superb addition to our facilities here at the Border Group.
